Therapy Room
Apostolic Christian Resthaven’s rehab department is run by a nursing assistant that has gone through training and certification, specializing in exercise with and without weights, ambulation drills, hot packs, application of splints and braces, as well as active and passive range of motion. Our goal is to maximize each resident’s mobility and potential for rehabilitation, while minimizing discomfort and pain. The services of the rehab aide are included in the daily rate; however, there is a nominal fee for the initial evaluation by the physical therapist. Apostolic Christian Resthaven’s rehab aide works under the direction of a licensed physical therapist and the Director of Nursing, who is rehab certified.
