Resthaven is licensed by the State of Illinois Department of Public Health for 50 beds, four private and 23 semi-private rooms. Skilled or intermediate nursing care is provided to both men and women. In order to help residents participate in some of the activities which they enjoyed in the community, Resthaven also has:
· Beauty Parlor/Barber Shop, which provides all the services of a larger shop.
· Gift Shop, offering greeting cards, craft items, candy, and small gifts.
· Bird aviary, recliners, cozy sitting room, pianos, and small aquarium, sunroom enclosed in glass with a view of the grounds, an outdoor deck overlooking our terraced gardens, and laundry facilities.
We currently have 18 independent living apartments, which include 12 one-bedroom units, 5 two-bedroom units, and one studio unit.
